Who builds it
A collective of quant and trading professionals and enthusiasts, who came together to build a basis trade anyone can run and check. There is no founder story and no personal brand. Anyone who claims to speak for OpenBasis outside the official channels is not us.
What we do
- Publish every study, including the failures.
- Seal each design before its study runs, and publish it in full.
- Put each study through an independent adversarial audit, on the record.
- Run the book on paper, in public, then with real money.
- Publish realized-vs-modeled drift next to the returns, every week.
What we will never do
- Offer a token, a coin or an airdrop.
- Run a fund, a pool or a managed account.
- Take deposits, or ask you to send funds anywhere.
- Charge fees.
- Ask for your keys or your seed phrase.
- Publish a return estimate before a study is released.
- Hide a failed study.

How to spot a fake
- The address isn’t exactly openbasis.org. Look-alikes swap letters, add hyphens or use a different ending.
- The handle isn’t exactly @OpenBasis. Check the spelling, or follow the link from this page.
- It mentions a token, a presale, an airdrop, staking, a pool or deposits. We have none of these.
- It asks for a seed phrase, a private key, an API key that can withdraw, or funds. We never will.
- It promises a return, or pushes you to act fast. We don’t do either.
